Governor Abbott, TWC Announce Over $1.1 Million In Career Training Grants For Four Alamo Area Schools

Governor Greg Abbott today announced four Jobs and Education for Texans (JET) grants totaling $1,113,310 have been awarded to four schools in the Alamo area by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). The JET grants will support career and technical education (CTE) training programs by helping the schools purchase and install equipment to initially train 202 students for high-demand occupations such as construction managers, registered nurses, and more.
