‘Because We Care’ cash grant distribution continues for CAPE students

The government’s continued investment in education is being reflected in the ongoing distribution of the ‘Because We Care’ cash grant, with CAPE students now receiving the $85,000 education support.

Minister of Education Sonia Parag on Friday visited distribution sites at Diamond Secondary School and Queen’s College, where CAPE students collected the cash grant check.

The CAPE distribution follows the completion of the cash grant programme for students at other levels in public and private schools across Guyana.

The continued rollout forms part of government’s commitment to supporting students and families while investing in education across all levels of the school system.
